Taking a Look Back at the Year That Was
2020 has been a year full of events like no other, we have all faced many challenges, both as individuals and businesses but as we near the end of the year, we want to take a look back and celebrate all of the successes and new beginnings.
Read on and take a trip down memory lane for the new product launches and awards that happened here at Miele in 2020.
A new era of flexibility: FullSurfaceCooktop
Following the successful launch of our biggest built-in range in Miele’s history, we were proud to release the Generation 7000 FullSurface Induction Cooktop in March.
With unparalleled freedom, the award-winning FullSurface Cooktop was designed to ensure that nothing stands in the way of creativity for the budding home chef.
Developed with the user front of mind, the Generation 7000 FullSurface Cooktop eliminates unnecessary steps in the cooking process. Allowing up to six pots and pans to be positioned anywhere on the surface without any scraping or damage and with unique Intelligent Pan Recognition that enables you to move the pan to any location and replicate the same setting in the new zone.
Food storage reaches new heights: MasterCool II and K 20000 Refrigeration
When the cooler months set in, we were thrilled to launch the next generation of food storage with the MasterCool II and K 20000 refrigeration range.
The range was made to seamlessly fit into any contemporary home design by pairing European design quality and New Zealand dimensions.
The new designs were paired with an incredible French Door, the MasterCool II’s upgraded door panelling allowed for even more storage space, wider shelves and larger door bins all with a sleek metallic finish.
The MasterCool II features the same intuitive technology as the Generation 7000 range and can be controlled by the tap of a button.
The K 20000 range was created for those looking for more flexibility with an all-in-one solution that could be configured to any combination set up of fridge/freezer or fridge/freezer/wine cooler combination for the heart of your home.
Transforming your laundry experience
Made to revolutionise the laundry experience, our latest generation of laundry appliances launched this year with brand new design lines and intuitive technology.
Our latest Miele Washing Machines feature a range of much-loved programmes and innovations to help clean clothes quicker and easier than ever before.
Meanwhile, our designers kept sustainability at the front of mind with the new Miele Dryer range including one of our favourites, the 10-star dryer, TWF 720 WP 8kg Heat Pump Tumble Dryer that received an upgrade to combine style with trusted Miele quality. Both laundry appliances have a new look and feel with even more colours in the range to suit every home style.
Making Miele firsts: Triflex HX1
So flexible, so powerful, so fast and so popular! Our Miele Triflex HX1 landed on shelves in September this year and has quickly become a crowd favourite.
As our first handstick to enter the floorcare market, we were excited to be able to offer three incredible innovations in the one vacuum cleaner. With a comfort mode, reach mode and compact mode there is no nook or cranny that will go untouched.
