The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in this competition, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of the administration of this competition. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries. The Promoter will not replace lost items if the address details supplied by the entrant is incorrect.

The Promoter reserves the right to request winners to provide proof of identity, proof of residency at the nominated prize delivery address and/or proof of entry validity in order to claim a prize. Proof of identification, residency and entry considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

The Contest is not open to:

employees, officers and directors of the Sponsor and its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, agents, and advertising and promotion agencies, (collectively, “Promotion Parties”); and

the immediate family members (regardless of where they live) of a person excluded under (a) or anyone domiciled with a person excluded under (a) (whether related to that person or not). For the purposes of these Official Contest Rules, “immediate family” includes husband, wife, spouse, partner, mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, and/or daughters.

No Purchase is Necessary

(a)                The competition will be launched via a notification post on Miele New Zealand’s Instagram account at 13:00 NZDT on Monday 19^th of April 2021.

(b)               The post will be publicly visible across Miele New Zealand’s Instagram account for people to enter the competition.

(c)                To enter the Contest, an Entrant will have until 11:59 NZDT on Monday 26^th of April 2021 to answer the question ‘Do you know someone who deserves to be spoilt this Mother’s Day’? To win, simply tag the person you want to spoil and tell is in 25 words or less why’.

(d)               To be eligible, all entrants must be following Miele New Zealand’s Instagram page, have liked the competition post, and have dictated in 25 words or less why their tagged account should win.

(e)                All Eligible Entries will be evaluated based on the below criteria:

(i)                  have they are following Miele New Zealand’s Instagram page;

(ii)                have liked the competition post; and

(iii)               dictated in 25 words or less why their tagged account should win.

Entries will not be valid if they are not following the page, have not liked the competition post or commented in over 25 words why their tagged account should win before 23:59 NZDT on Monday 26^th of April 2021.

(f)                 Once followed, the Entrant will have entered into the Contest. Entries on the Miele New Zealand’s Instagram account must be publicly viewable by the Sponsor and remain posted until the end of the Contest Period, otherwise the Entry will be deemed ineligible.

Entry Conditions: Each Entry must: (1) be original; (2) be created for the purposes of this Contest; (3) have not been previously published, used commercially, submitted prior to this Contest or during this Contest to another Contest, competition or promotion or won any other prize/award; (4) not defame, infringe or violate the rights of any third party (including, without limitation, copyright or other intellectual property rights of any other party); (5) be appropriate for the Contest and all ages, in “good taste”, in keeping with Sponsor’s image and be suitable for publication (e.g. must not be obscene or indecent or degrade, harass or intimidate an individual or group of individuals on the basis of any impermissible classification, including without limitation, religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, color, creed, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, marital status or military status), as determined by Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion; and (6) not contain any commercial content that promotes any product or service other than those offered by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to reject, modify, edit or remove any Entry and judge it void or disqualify it and you at any time, without notice to you, that Sponsor deems, in its sole and absolute discretion, not to be in keeping with the Official Contest Rules.

If submitting/uploading Entry via a mobile device, standard data rates may apply. Entrants should check their service carrier plan for more information regarding rates and fees. Entries may only be submitted by the authorized account holder of the Social Media Platform. Use (or attempted use) of any automated macro, script, robotic, or other system(s) or program(s) to enter or otherwise participate in or disrupt this Contest is prohibited and is considered grounds for disqualification from this Contest.

Selection Method: A panel of judges from Miele will select the most creative answer to be the winner, provided the winner has followed the Miele New Zealand’s Instagram page, have liked the competition post.

One (1) Miele CM 5310 Benchtop Coffee Machine, valued at $1499.00 NZD.

In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize offered by the Promoter then that element of the prize pack will be deemed to have been forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.

If an entrant is successfully selected as a winner in this competition, other entries submitted by the same entrant will be excluded. This exclusion relates to any other promotion Miele is completing concurrently inclusive of a game of skill.

Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices/ list prices at the time of printing as stated on the Future Food System web page, and discounts and bonuses are not applicable. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in Prize value between now and when the Prize is redeemed.

It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize.

The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking any of the Prizes, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised by the entrant, each entrant consents to the information they submit with their entry being entered into a database and the Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any reference or payment or other compensation to the entrant.

In consideration for the Promoter awarding the prize to the winner, the winners hereby permits any image and/or voice, as recorded, photographed or filmed during their participation in the prize event/s to appear in connection with The Promoter or the advertising or marketing material thereof, in any media whatsoever throughout the world, and the winner will not be entitled to any remuneration or payment for such use.

The winner is responsible for any taxation implications (including FBT) that may arise. It is the winner’s responsibility to seek professional advice in regard.
