Join us for an evening of delicious canapés and wine at our Miele Experience Centre, celebrating the work of Christchurch’s Kairos food rescue and its team.

Operating in Christchurch, Kairos rescues food from supermarkets, cafes and other food producers and distributes it to over 50 community groups and charitable organisations, ensuring that quality surplus food reaches those in need, rather than being needlessly discarded.

Kairos rescues and redistributes over 70 tonne of food a month, the equivalent of 155,555 meals being provided to those who need it most, also resulting in a 210,000 kg reduction in carbon emissions.

Our Miele Culinary Experts will be serving a delicious menu that has been consciously prepared using some rescued food, to ensure minimal food wastage, demonstrating how easily this can be replicated at home.

All proceeds from the ticket sales of the event will be donated to Kairos.
